Windows Multiboot USB Key - WinSetupFromUSB

I have decided to post something different today instead of posting the 3rd installment of my current certifications. As I am doing a complete reinstall of my desktop system to help me study for this certification, I thought it might be interesting to document some of the rebuilt process.

As part of the first exam covers Windows 7 and Windows XP and the fact that I much prefer to use USB keys these days to install from, I wanted to created a single USB key which I could boot from and install either Windows 7 or Windows XP from. So I went searching for a utility to create a multi-boot USB key.

I am still working on my desktop to get it setup, so today's posts will a follow up from last Thursday's post on my own certifications. I left off in the last time stating that I would cover my Linux Professional Institute certification - Level 1 (LPIC-1) and VCP certifications.

My Current Certifications - Part 1

Sorry for not posting yesterday, I am having to setup my desktop system at home to aid me in studying. Last night I started backing up my data so that I could reinstall my system and setup it up for this. I am hoping that for some of the posts that I will be able to put videos and screenshots of some of the things I did.

In the meantime, I decided that today's post would cover the certifications that I currently hold to give you some background on my technical knowledge. Up until 7 years ago I did not have any certifications until I moved to the US and started working for a call center as my first job. I found that getting certifications in what I was working at made the day go faster.

The first one on the list is the 70-669: TS: Windows 2008 R2, Desktop Virtualization which just from the description is probably going to the one that bores me the most in this process.
